This online workshop will introduce a comprehensive and practical clinical model for utilizing acupuncture’s extraordinary vessels in the treatment of patients with chronic pain. All aspects of the chronic pain experience will be explored with an emphasis on the unique capacity for the extraordinary vessels to treat not only the experience of pain but also the cognitive, imaginative, embodied emotional, psycho-social, and spiritual aspects of living with chronic pain. Treatment modalities including acupuncture, moxibustion, and cupping will be presented with an eye toward immediate integration into the clinical practice.  The workshop will provide a contextual map for understanding and diagnosing chronic pain and introduce a step-by-step protocol for treatment.

  • A novel, patient centered approach for working with people living with chronic pain.

  • Clinical tips and case studies from Dan’s forty years of working with chronic pain patients.

Daniel Atchison-Nevel is the founder of NSEV Healing & Acupuncture and co-founder of the 3 Wombs Academy. Dan has taught, conducted, and published research and utilized the extraordinary vessels in his clinical practice for more than 35 years. He has a particular interest in and has developed holistic approaches for the treatment of chronic and complex cases including chronic pain.
